Transition Product/Interaction/Graphic Biodesign #experimental workshop

Presentation of living growing & timebased processes.
The 3rd year students of Product Design, Interaction Design and Graphic Design studied 4 days the world of living matter.
Realized with much thanks to the planning and expertise of guesttutor Maurizio Montalti, of Officina Corpuscoli.

Over the past few decades, biology has entered public consciousness more than any other science. We’ve been learning that organisms, being organised information, can be manipulated and their features combined to perform new, specific functions.
The purpose of this experimental workshop is to grow curiosity about living materials, to explore a hands-on approach, to get introduced and learn about the microbial world, as well as to reflect about life at large.
